Snowed In

after we shoveled three times during the day!

I'm sure you've heard, it's snowing like crazy over here on the east coast. During weather like this, I'm so happy I work from home.  So far Jersey City has about 5 inches and they say it’s supposed to get worse.  I've been trying to keep myself busy by catching up on movies, one of which was Lovely Bones that my cousin, Gale, recommended a few months back.  I also finally started knitting the scarf I promised my brother - hopefully I get that finished up this week.

Ok, that's it for now.  In the meantime, check out my giveaway in the post below.

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and got to share it with people you love.  I'll be back with updates from the holiday festivities.

Stay warm! ♥

  15. @Danielle - I love snow also, but only after the first 2 days. After that, I hate when it gets dirty and slushy. :/

@Lula & Miss D - I know, I wish it snowed a bit during Christmas. That would've been the icing on the cake! And the movie was really good. I have yet to read the book.

@Little Tree Vintage - I heard you got hit with about 26 inches of snow! I hope you survived it and didn't have to deal with the burden of shoveling.

@Jo's Health Corner - I wish you had some of our snow. It was waaaay too much.

@Lindsay - Hope you had a great Christmas also. I def had fun with my family. I can't wait to share the photos.

@Kenzie - It's funny that you mention that 'cause not too long ago, I was asking my brother about the snow in Alaska in comparison to the North Pole. HA!

@Gale - Thanks. The heights misses you too. :(

  22. That is a LOT of snow. We are far enough south that we don't usually get that much, but we are prone to ice storms down here. (I found your blog from a comment you left on www.lydiajdavis.blogspot.com )I hope it melts before it gets too ugly and dirty.

  23. Wow, what a storm you are having! It's cold and snowy where I am, too, but I kind of like the chance to just stay inside and be cozy. Stay warm!

  24. @Jaimie - Ok great! It's so cute. I wouldn't be surprised if you sell out!

@Nia - Have a safe trip home, dear!

@Summer - I'm so jealous of your weather. I'm so over the snow. Bring on spring.

@Lisa - Wow, that's one of the best Christmas presents I received. Thank you so much.

  26. @dulci - We don't live too far from each other. I saw on the new that NYC streets are horrible. :/
They were towing cars around the block from my house so they can plow.
