  1. Gosh my all time fave era must definitely be the 80's. I'm totally into the funny big hair styles and the black scheme of the era.

  3. my favorite fashion era is the 60's because - WOW! talk about a huge range of options. early 60's to late 60's spans a wide enough range of looks - housewife to hippie, subtle to bold, innocent to rock n' roll - to suit all my moods.

  4. Right now is my favorite... because right now we can combine, mix and match all that came before with the present into our own ecletic creations. And truly... now there is so much more freedom in wearing our art and emotion as our clothing that we no longer are subject to such harsh determinations from the 'fashion police'.... cause if it works for you- well then it works! :o)

  5. Definitely would have to be the 60's. It's so original & funky. I wore a shoe pants thing yesterday at an event...I bought at your store when you guys first opened. Everyone loved it!

I wish you guys could stay, but I guess online purchase is just as good. Good luck Grace & Gale.

  6. I've got to agree with most of the rest of ya'll and say the mid-to-late 60's. Liquid eyeliner, big (but perfectly coiffed) hair, pencil skirts, keyholes, the dawn of platform shoes... the dawn of flower power... so good. It's like all the good taste and impeccable sartorialism of the 50's carried over and was thrown a bit of a monkey wrench for added flavor and sass.

  7. I would have to say the roaring 20s. The hair styles and the changes in fashion. I love the lines of the dresses and the whole air of the era. If i could go back it would be to then.

On the flip side i also love the straight lace of the Corset Eras, right back from the 1600s to the 20s. The Shape of the clothes and the idea of a corset all seems very sensual to me.

Of course with a petticoat i'm flexible for any era!

  9. I love the 50s! What's not to love about the feminine, elegant dresses, high heels, hats, poodle skirts, sock hops and the amazing hairstyles. Everyone looked so proper and prim. Plus the furniture lines produced in this era are so stylish with clean lines and great colors.
